Favorite Class

This will sound really nerdy but my Korean class is amazing so far. I think the alphabet is really pretty and fun to write, and hopefully soon I’ll be able to actually say things as well. There’s only 7 of us, which makes it feel really low-key and relaxed. The students are all so interesting too. One guy already knows Japanese and Chinese, and now he wants to learn Korean. Another student wants to learn the language because he married a Korean woman. In the other section, an adopted girl reunited with her Korean birth mother over the summer and now wants to be able to speak to her. All of us convinced our teacher to take us to a Korean barbecue restaurant in Annandale, Virginia in place of our recitation in a couple weeks!I’m in the beginner level, so right now we’re going very slowly and it’s pretty easy for me. I’m excited for when we get to actual sentences though.
